Jim Ryan to Headline Woodford GOP
Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner February 24

Attorney General Jim Ryan will be the keynote speaker at the annual Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner of the Woodford County Republican Central Committee on February 24. Ryan will speak following the dinner. County, State, and regional office holders and candidates will also attend.

The dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. in the assembly hall of St. Mary's School in Metamora. Tickets are now on sale for $15.00 per person and may be obtained from Woodford County Republican precinct committeemen and office holders. The Lincoln-Reagan Day dinner serves as a primary source of operating funds for the Central Committee and for the Eureka College Young Republicans.

This will be the first year for the event under its new name. At last year's dinner, Woodford County Republicans voted to honor President Ronald Reagan's contributions to the Nation and to Woodford County by adding his name to the annual dinner event. President Reagan attended Eureka College and was well known throughout the community in his early days. They are also encouraging other county Republican organizations to do the same.

For further information, table reservations or to obtain tickets, the public may contact any of the following members of the dinner committee: Jim Durst, 467-2876; Earl Anderson, 432-2131; Paul Burton, 965-2479; Marvin Ioerger, 367-4726, or Jim Fyke, 467-4525.
