Advent is active in various bible studies and other activities. Fellowship and continued study of God's word are essential parts of our Christian growth. If you are interested in an activity described below please check the Calendar of Events web page, The Announcer or call the Church office (266-5883) for this month's time & location.

Bible Studies
Lunch Bunch	Have lunch, share fellowship and study the Word once a month with brothers and sisters in Christ. This group usually meets the third Thursday of the month
Men's Breakfast & Study Group	Meet with the men of Advent to study His Word...and to chat a bit!
Prayer Group & Bible Study	Pull up a chair in our church library on Thursday mornings and share in prayer, Bible study and service with the longest-running Bible study group at Advent.
Prime Timers Lunch	A Seniors' Fellowship Luncheon is held each month. A variety of programs and good food are served up, along with good conversation.
Senior LYO Bible Study	Check out the Senior High LYO Bible study every Wednesday evening at 7:30 - study, chat and share His Word.
Sunday Evening Bible Study	Bring your appetite for good food and a thirst for wisdom and enjoy fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ.

Other Activities
Advent Adults	Once a month, we try to get together for an outing, just for fun...plays, ballgames, dinner, concerts, Oldies Night...just to name a few!
Music
Adult	The Adult Choir performs several times throughout the year. Practices are typically on Wednesday evenings. Anyone who loves song and fellowship is invited to join our current "Voices of Advent"in singing to and honoring our glorious Father in Heaven.
Youth	The Junior Choir is comprised of second graders through sixth graders and meets on Wednesday evenings. Participation in the worship services is generally about once a month. The Chime Choir is made up of enthusiastic youth from the 7th grade through high school. Don't be afraid to try it. If you can count, the director and experienced chimers will see to it that you can play the chimes!
